Xochitl, Han and I are in Xochitl's bed, reading bedtime books. I mention that the neighbor friends had a baby born yesterday, bringing the kid count at their house to three.
Me: Do you think it will be fun having three kids at their house?
X: I don't know.
Me: Well, what do you think is the perfect number of children in a family?
X: One.
Me: Oh honey, I don't mean how many brothers or sisters, I mean how many kids in the whole family?
X: One.
Me: One? But that would mean that it would be just you, no Han.
X: Yes, just one.
